Baby waves at La Jolla. Great place to learn the cool art of surfing. Maybe next year….

Hello folks, Im out in Southern California starting my West Coast tour. snapped this Pacific sunset before the gig in San Diego last night. The weather is brilliant but it is as dry as I’ve ever seen California. They need some of the wet stuff we’ve been having back in Scotland!

Not been up to much in the last couple of weeks as the weather has snookered most outdoor stuff, but did manage to slope off to the slopes one day last week. Here is the view looking west from Cairngorm Mountain. It has not been a good winter for snow as you see.

The funicular railway that takes snows-sporters up Cairngorm mountain. You can see one of the cars coming down from the top…

Happy New Year! Not quite Edinburgh Castle perhaps but a lovely firework display at the Dunkeld Hilton where I was singing for my supper on Hogmany.

A very poor image of the ceilidh band that I was singing with. The dance floor was heaving all night…

The very talented ringleaders Gregor Lowry and Pete Clark at the session after the dancing that went on until the bar shut at 5am…..

This morning looking out onto the River Tay. This is one of the hotels we like to use on our tour of Scotland..

This wizard is getting his owl ready to send a New Year message to Professor Dumbledore….
