Yesterday was my last trip of the year to do some snowboaring here at Glenshee. It was tough going with high winds and very poor visibility, although it would clear up every now and then just to tease. The evening before I had a great gig at Stirling Folk Club, a really local trip for me, I was back home before midnight!

Down in Edinburgh yesterday to do a live broadcast for Radio Wales. the presenter was Frank Hennessey a lovely guy and great singer/songwriter from Cardiff. Scotland were playing Wales at rugby in the city but they lost in a very turgid game. Edinburgh was swarming with Welsh folks who are wonderfully well behaved and friendly especially since they won and are still in with a chance of winning the Six Nations Championship if they beat England in a fortnight..

Popped down to my local music shop in Perth to get a few bits and pieces. Perth has some great shops and Bandwagon is one of them. The service side is excellent, Pete Caban has been running a music shop in Perth for decades. Online is all very well until you need something really fast or fixed quickly. And you can be sure that unlike many of these online behemoths that the local guy is actually paying tax in Britain! rant over..
